"The birth of Le Green"

Three years ago when my 6-month-old son was struggling with eczema, I began to look for ways to help him ease the itchiness and condition. During my own research, I was drawn to a more gentle approach using natural ingredients. Since then I became more conscious about what went on the body, avoiding any skincare products that included synthetic chemicals.

I first took a course to properly learn how to make natural soaps and started to create handmade soaps using only natural healthy oils, with zero chemicals.

I then took another course to further enhance my knowledge on essential and herbal oils, and continued making my own DIY products, carefully selecting ingredients from trusted sources.

In the past year, I have been making soaps and lip balm for my family and friends, receiving some very positive feedback. Hence, I was encouraged to turn this hobby of mine into a career, thus enrolling onto further professional courses to learn more about formulating effective, natural skincare products.

"My proof of concept was when I developed a special facial oil for my sister."

My sister had always suffered from dry skin, especially during the winter season. One day when she visited me, she asked if I could formulate a skincare product for her to try. I therefore took the opportunity enthusiastically to put what I learnt into practice, and formulated my own facial oil for her. After a month, she started to notice a difference, reporting warmly about how her skin no longer felt so tight or dry.

With that, Le Green was born. And that’s the first formulation that has become our own Facial Oil - now readily available for people to use.
